Contemporary Duncan Dance Class - March 20

We will explore the life-affirming dance form of mother of modern dance and progressive artist, Isadora Duncan, in ways that acknowledge and embrace the new ways we've been experiencing life in the past two years. In particular, we look to heal and generate movement from a gentle internal space to an embracive and expansive experience to connect with one another through movement and dance. Each class includes holistic warm-up, foundational technique exercises, repertory-based combinations and guided imaginative improvisation. Musicality, expressiveness, connection and whole body integration are key elements of this historic and timeless dance style.
